Hey Everyone,

As the portfolio updates have been thin on the ground due to me being on some pretty huge, long running projects, I thought I’d throw up a few snaps I took on a trip to the zoo this week.  I just couldn’t help myself, as soon as we decided that we were taking our little boy for his first trip to the zoo, I just had to pack the camera up and bring it along.  I wanted to get up close and personal with most of the shots to capture some of the texture and detail that you dont/cant normally see when walking around the zoo, so a big thanks goes out to my 300mm zoom lens for its assistance here ;)

Looks like being a popular month for my birds of prey photos, firstly Swarovski using one of my Steppe Eagle shots in a new ad campaign and now one of my Barn Owl photos being used on the leaflet cover of a new ‘Adopt an Owl’ pack down at the sanctuary.  Its so nice to see these images going to good use!
