Bladeslinger
The brief:
I was introduced to Luma Arcade by the guys at Unity, and when I saw Bladeslinger, my jaw well and truly dropped! I was chomping at the bit to work on the mircrosite! The brief was pretty simple in truth, to create a 1 page microsite to show off the most visually impressive iOS game in existence!
The solution:
My old rule for any site design is that content is king, so the better the assets, the better the final outcome will be. In this case, it was like Christmas come early! The assets were breathtaking, just like the game! With the envrionment and character renders in hand, it was time to do my usual trick and start building up a huge action scene for the main feature of the site. After about a days worth of work, the scene was complete and the atmosphere well and truly set. I then moved onto the content layout and brought all the elements together into the final design you see here. Amazingly fulfilling project!! Keep your eyes on Luma, they're making BIG waves!
FI-Faves...
English Electric (BAC) Lightning
My love and fascination of all things that fly carries on with this photographic experiment. I was taking a walk around the Manchester Air Museum with the sole goal of finding some interesting shots of some of favourite old school fighters. Say hello to Mr.Lightning!
Cascadia Games
This was SUCH a wonderful project! I love illustrating characters, but this grizzly bear for Cascadia Games has to be one of my all times faves!

@DamienMcFerran Maybe not to this extent, but I'm sure Nintendo are used to leading the handheld charge...has anyone ever outsold them? more...
