Caffe Tempo

The brief:

Few of you know that alongside video games and nature, my other HUGE passion is coffee! I’m truly obsessed with the stuff! So when a good friend of mine (who happens to make THE best espresso ever!) announced he was starting up a mobile coffee company, it was obvious who was doing the brand and site! The brand had to encapsulate all that makes it special, warmth, quality and finesse. It was obvious that the site couldn’t be over engineered, it had to be a one page effective promotional tool. So with this in my head and one of their espressos in my hand, I was boosted and ready to go!

The solution:

The brand came together very naturally, and we soon settled on the finished design. Warm tones and smooth curls all came together to give that feeling of a luxurious cup of wonderful coffee! With this polished up, we set to work on the site. The final design was an extension of the brand, bringing together the warmth of the coffee and texture of its origins. The story of the companies beginning is key to the passion behind their drinks, so that took centre stage at the top of the design, followed by all the other important information that anyone would need to know. Great project!!

Angry Viking – Happy Viking

Happy viking...angry viking...grrrrr. This was one of the many personal illustrations that I created back when I was managing at Lightmaker and was in dire need of getting back to my sketchpad. He hee, it was probably a reflection of how I felt at the time ;)

Digital Exploration Pt.3

To celebrate the launch of Fully Illustrated V3.0 I wanted to create 3 individual pieces of digital art, focusing on the different stages of artistic creation. Yeah that's all a bit faffy isn't, I just wanted to make something pretty, here's image 3.

Maybe not to this extent, but I'm sure Nintendo are used to leading the handheld charge...has anyone ever outsold them?
