As the main backer of the GameDock's Kickstarter campaign, I've been heavily involved with the GameDock from the outset. While working on almost all aspects of the GameDocks visual design (more to come soon), this time I was tasked with giving the GameDock a slick new mobile friendly site that would really show off its great features.
We wanted something that would be as rich on your computer screen as it would be on your mobile device, so we opted for a long scrolling design that included large images in a very clear/concise layout. As I'd already been working on the branding and packaging at this point, the site came together very naturally.
I cannot stress how exciting the GameDock is! 1080p output, 2 traditional controllers, a charging dock, Bluetooth connectivity, you name it and its cheap to buy too! So cool. Its shipping in late February, so get your orders in before they're all gone!
Well, what can I say? Actually, I know what I can say, three words should cover it...Dream...Come...True!! This is pretty much my ideal project.
Back in 2007 I was approached by Patrick McNeil from none other than the very popular design site, Design Meltdown, to appear in his book ‘The Web Designers Idea Book’ in the ‘black’ themed section, that was due to go on sale in late 2008.
