The brief was simple, it was an extension of the previous two projects (the brand and website design) which was to totally overhaul the current look of the interface and HUD, and to bring it in-line with the new look I'd given the site. Awesome!
After enjoying creating the rich textured website design, I was looking forward to getting my teeth into the app itself. I was lucky enough to get the chance to design most of the app's screens, rather than just a small handful. This allowed me to ensure the quality is prevalent throughout the app...and this brings me joy :) I just love the tight, small scale restrictions of the iPhone, it allows you to worry about one resolution only, and to ensure that everything fits like a glove. If your a fan of MMORPG's, then grab a copy of the game as its free, and rather awesome! Oh and just to note, I wasn't responsible for the 3D environment, just the interface work.
This was a great opportunity that arose late 2008, where I was approached by the publishers of this new creative inspiration book series, the Creative Unity, to appear in their first volume as none other than their featured designer!
ISOTX have got some seriously kick ass war games to their name, and when they got in touch requesting an all new brand and website, I couldn’t wait to tackle the project!
