Haypi Kingdom

The brief:

I love creating websites that are textured, warm and steeped in history, so creating the website for a new iPhone MMORPG called Haypi Kingdom was going to be ace! The brief was fairly straight forward too, to create a rich site that added additional history and depth to the game...I could hardly wait!

The solution:

The solution was simple, to use old paper, old maps and aged wood to create a rich and atmospheric homepage. To add to the overall effect I tried to make the site feel as though it was lit by candlelight, further adding to the perceived age and atmosphere. There were loads of layered up textures used on this design to create the depth, which I totally love doing. This was ace!

COCOS 2D

This was a great little illustration job! Cocos 2D is a kick ass framework for creating 2D iPhone games, one that Chris (the development half of our new independent games company, more info on that coming soon :) discovered in the early stages of creating our first iPhone game.

English Electric (BAC) Lightning

My love and fascination of all things that fly carries on with this photographic experiment. I was taking a walk around the Manchester Air Museum with the sole goal of finding some interesting shots of some of favourite old school fighters. Say hello to Mr.Lightning!

Maybe not to this extent, but I'm sure Nintendo are used to leading the handheld charge...has anyone ever outsold them?
