I love creating websites that are textured, warm and steeped in history, so creating the website for a new iPhone MMORPG called Haypi Kingdom was going to be ace! The brief was fairly straight forward too, to create a rich site that added additional history and depth to the game...I could hardly wait!
The solution was simple, to use old paper, old maps and aged wood to create a rich and atmospheric homepage. To add to the overall effect I tried to make the site feel as though it was lit by candlelight, further adding to the perceived age and atmosphere. There were loads of layered up textures used on this design to create the depth, which I totally love doing. This was ace!
I have a few illustration jobs brewing right now, but as they are all either in production, or not yet live, I thought I’d try some more personal stuff...Say hello to Hunter Bob.
Eyeball Invaders was a fun little side project that I worked on back in 2008 for Fishing Cactus which is now on Steam Greenlight!
