Indie Game Magazine
The brief for IGM was fairly complex with regards to requirements, as a site as vast as any credible news site, has to be feature and content rich, so I knew there was going to be a great challenge ahead of me with this project and one that I was eager to take on!
After running through all of IGM’s requirements, it became clear very quickly what direction to take and what content had to be pushed to the forefront, so I set to work with a very clear view of what needed to be created. Firstly, IGM needed a new brand, something to take it to a new level, something more games focused and at the same time serious and credible, again, a great challenge! With the brand sorted it was time to set to work at making IGM feel like the one and only source for all things Indie related. The new design presents the Indie news in much more of a professional manner. The guys at IGM were thrilled with the new design as was I!
Just warming up the old 3D skills ready for a rather bloody exciting new game I'm going to be working on in the new year! This little fella was designed more as an experiment in texture and light than anything else.
Rather than the usual video game news site, Gaming Dead is geared toward the darker side of the games industry, the horror genre! The site needed a new, grim character based brand and a creepy menacing site design too.
