Quickfingers

The brief:

Quickfingers are a new iPhone & iPad development company. They required a complete brand experience creating for their new venture, including character illustrated branding and homepage design. They specifically wanted something that could portray ‘quick fingers’ but in a gaming reference and not in a too literal way, plus they love all things retro! I love projects like this!

The solution:

I decided to experiment with the idea of a robot, something that could quite easily behold quick fingers. The character came together pretty quickly and while trying to find a great background to present him on, I in turn came across the look for the site! As this look was based on an old school vector grid tunnel, I decided to whip out the Nintendo Virtual Boy from my collection for some further inspiration...any reason to get an old console out and I’m on it! I thoroughly loved this little job!

RollOut!

What a fun little project! This was a small, quick-fire iPhone project for the guys at Fishing Cactus for their new game, RollOut!

Pointy Ear Man

Yey, a little more character development. I have some great new work starting soon, so I wanted to take some time to play around with some style development. Don't ask where the idea came from, I was just sat down watching some TV with my sketch pad playing with some lines...and boom, he appeared.

Maybe not to this extent, but I'm sure Nintendo are used to leading the handheld charge...has anyone ever outsold them?
