Subatomic Studios

The brief:

As I’d had the pleasure of working with Subatomic back when they stormed the iPhone charts with Fieldrunners, it was great to be working together again on their official company site! I was tasked with creating the new home for their current and upcoming games, one that could be infinitely expandable and take them forward as they grow and expand.

The solution:

As Subatomic Studios are known for their levels of attention to detail, we spent quite some time working on the finer points of the overall look and feel. Once we nailed down the exact direction we collectively tailored the design to hold lots of nice little visual touches to make every page element pop. If you look closely there’s lots of different box styles, lighting accents and other lovely touches scattered around the site. It was quite a large site all in all, and once complete it really came together well! With Fieldrunners 2 on the way, I strongly urge you check the site out in anticipation for their next epic app store success!

Pointy Ear Man

Yey, a little more character development. I have some great new work starting soon, so I wanted to take some time to play around with some style development. Don't ask where the idea came from, I was just sat down watching some TV with my sketch pad playing with some lines...and boom, he appeared.

Web Designer Magazine Feature

Yey, another little appearance in Web Designer Magazine! I was invited to do a quick article about how I use Photoshop for the web and how valuable it is to me as a designer. As Photoshop is my main tool it seemed like the perfect thing to be writing about!
