The Wheel of Kings

The brief:

This was fan site number 2 for the guys at Two PI Team, only this time for the upcoming King of Kings! More fantasy goodness!! As with Wheel of Allods, this site had to submerge the user deep into a fantastical world, so something pretty intense was required as this title has an epic foundation!

The solution:

Once again, I was supplied with amazing assets! I had so much to chose from, so it was a case of pulling out all the elements I needed and bringing them all together into one intense scene to set the tone for the page. As with most sites that I create, I spend a huge amount of time creating the main scene and tonal palette for the site as a whole. I bring in the core assets, characters, background images and a mixture of my own smoke, light and material textures, and start to work stitching/blending/toning them all together to create one giant atmospheric scene. With this done and dusted, it was onto the interface work, allowing the same elements, textures and tones to feed through and create a fully integrated look to the whole page. Awesome fun!

Sonica Mandarin

This was a sample for a potential 'other language' version of Sonica. This was for the proposed Sonica Mandarin.

Silly Little Undead Warrior

Don’t ask, I have no idea. He hee, well, I just got a little caught up in some good issues of ImagineFX, one too many fantasy movies and a couple of great new books, needless to say I thought I’d throw a mix of traditional painting with my usual cartoony style...and got this.
