City Run London - Mission 1545

Dark and moody website design

City Run London

Project Details

The brief for this website design was to push home the gritty, dark and atmospheric setting of 16th century London. The game’s story and setting is intense and the site had to really make that apparent. With an art direction as rich as this it was quite easy to get the tone feeling right from the outset. Using the large, incredible artwork from the game we created a design that spanned the screen and really pulled you into the game world. The game will be being launched soon so keep your eyes peeled!

Update, the game has been re-named to Mission 1545 and is due out very soon. Not long now!

Ethos

When creating any game website the goal is always to tie the website into the actual game as closely as possible. To extend the viewer and players experience beyond the game and into the web. Taking all the available concept art, in game art and bespoke promotional art, it is essential to create a world that feels like a literal extension of the game world. To plunge the user deep into the experience of the game from the moment the first page loads.
